Heavy Madhya Pradesh armlet, India
Rigid and heavy high-grade silver bracelet from Madhya Pradesh in India. Rathva women wear these bracelets in thick undulant (simulating a snake) silver wire on the upper part of the arm. According to Untracht, similar examples are also worn in Balangir District in Orissa.
Silver content has been tested as 800/1000 or more.
