Old Lisu head adornment, SW China
Old Lisu head adornment used by women of this Chinese Minority group living in South China and North Vietnam.
The cloth band is worn around the head, with the bead strips falling over the forehead.
Buttons and shell beads are sewn on the cloth. From the cloth band hang blue, white and white heart red beads, ending in glass Chinese beads.
From early to mid XXth Century.
The contour is 48 cm long (18,9 in) and the beads strip are 14 cm high (5,51 in)
It weighs 280 gr.
