Aceh gilded silver pendant, Sumatra (Indonesia)

Spectacular gilded silver pendant from the Sultanate of Aceh, Sumatra (indonesia) Lavishly decorated with filigree and some granulation.  The main pendant form is based on the  breadfruit leaf and is often said to have originated in Malacca; it is common in antique Malaysian necklaces. It would have been attached to a simple chain or a more complex necklace.
